The Maine coast is awe-inspiring whether or not the sun is shining as it was when this photo was taken. During and after a storm, the Atlantic reminds me of how very insignificant in many ways we are as human beings. A visit to the coast is a helpful way to keep one "right-sized."

I spent some time on the coast just two months ago. I went to Cape Hatteras and camped on the sand. Looking towards the horizon I felt so small, just like a speck of sand similar to what I was standing on.

It's a beautiful photo.
